This past March, JJML Productions caught up with the esteemed Mr. Neal Katyal. In 2010, Neal became the first Asian American to be named Acting Solicitor General for the United States Justice Department. While serving in this position, he also became the first Solicitor General to issue a Confession of Error acknowledging the misconduct of the SG during the 1944 United States vs. Korematsu case.
Neal is currently representing the state of Hawaii opposing President's Trump's travel ban. In April, he appeared before the United States Supreme Court arguing against the constitutionality of banning people for targeted countries.
Neal will appear in JJML Production's Alternative Facts highlighting the parallels between the travel ban the wartime Supreme Court case of Fred Korematsu.
